Yes. When you create an event, the address is shown publicly so buyers know where to go. You're inviting people over, just like putting up a yard sale sign. If you want address-hidden-until-purchase behavior, use a regular meetup listing instead.

Yes. The event page has a "What I'm selling" list where you turn items on and off. At your own sale everything starts turned on, so the couch that's too heavy to bring is one tap to remove. If you joined someone else's event, nothing is included until you pick it. Only items you have for sale can be added — showcase items stay out of it.

The event deactivates automatically after the end time you set. Anything you were also offering for meetups stays available that way. Anything you offered only at events is hidden from search until you set up another event or turn meetups on for it. Orders already placed from the event are still valid, and you can always create a new event later.

Each buyer gets one pickup code for the event, shown as a QR code and a few characters, and a pickup card at the top of their activity page showing what's ready and where to go. They can pass the code to someone collecting for them, and collect in more than one visit. Anything not collected is cancelled about a day after the event, and the buyer isn't charged for it.

Yes, if the seller offers both. Items listed for meetups and for the event show both options, and buyers choose whichever works for them when adding to cart. Items a seller offers only at the event are collected there.

Yes, for events. Buyers pay by card at events so you don't need a cash box or change. You receive a payout to your bank account through Stripe. Setting up card payments is quick and only takes a few minutes. For regular meetups (not events), buyers can still choose cash.

You sell at one event at a time — your own sale, or one you were invited to. That way buyers only ever have one place to pick up from. Your own sale comes first: while you're hosting one, you can't also sell at someone else's. You can sign up for several events ahead of time and switch which one you're selling at, and when an event ends you're free for the next one.
