Verification Code Exchange

Buyer Inspects Item

Buyer has time to inspect the item before payment is captured. Need more time? Request an extension for 5 extra minutes. For valuable items, the seller can grant additional time too—you won't be rushed. If something's wrong, reject the transaction.

Complete the Exchange

Buyer confirms receipt, payment is captured (or cash changes hands), and both parties rate the experience. After the exchange, view your receipt (buyers) or payout details (sellers), and contact support if needed—all from the order detail page.

What if I already know the seller?

At checkout, you can opt for a simpler exchange. The seller confirms delivery, you confirm receipt, and payment is captured. You still get buyer protection and secure payment processing.

What if I need to meet at my home?

For items requiring home pickup (furniture, large appliances), you can set a private location for that specific listing. Your address stays hidden until the buyer commits to purchase. Only serious, payment-verified buyers see your address.
